This page is my intro about my current car the BMW Z3 roadster 1.9
I bought the car in December 2002, and collected it on a snowy morning from Priory BMW. Promptly spinning the car on a particularly tight bend right before arriving back home safely! Though no damage was done.
I've done very little to the car over the years I've had it, its had a new stereo instead of the incredibly lacking factory-fit BMW radio. It now has a Sony CDX-CA850, and also a Sony Ericsson bluetooth car-kit.
Under the bonnett nothing has changed apart from the oil and water, etc as I've kept up the genuine service history the previous own had, so the car has 100% BMW warranty still left on it! (Which is something worth keeping compared to most warranties)
It also has a nice factory-fit Thatcham Category 1 alarm/immobiliser which continues to help on insurance applications!
Unfortuntaely though in recent months I've decided that it has to go, as the practical size of the boot and passenger compartment are making it awkward if I want to transport even a CRT monitor about (it has to sit on the passenger seat beside me)
