Well we got our new cat today after a bit of drama yesterday. The first place we went only had 2 cats up for adoption but they had to go together so that was no good. Then we trawled across town to the other place and found the perfect little black girl kit but some moody bint at the shelter wouldn't process the adoption as we were close to closing time...rubbish.

 So...we finally went back there at noon today. One slight dilemma was that we weren't told that we needed vaccination papers for Max so ended up having to call the vets to confirm al lthat then we were good to go.

So that was that, and now we have a lovely little black lady-kit who is busy relaxing in the spare room..kitted out with everything she could wish for, with a bid to introducing her to resident pussy cat Max over the next few days. She is so friendly and loving, not a bad bone in he body which is nice.
